The Tara Grant Memorial Walk/Run

The Walk/Run began in 2007 as a way for Tara’s family to use her legacy to promote domestic violence awareness. We host this event to bring awareness for all of those who have faced domestic violence.
This year marks the 5th Anniversary!
We are moving to beautiful downtown Mt. Clemens to increase participation!
WE ARE EXPECTING 500+ ATTENDEES THIS YEAR!
The event includes a 5K walk and 5K run. Participants will walk or run to support Turning Point followed by a brief program.
$25 Walk/Run Registration
9 am - noon
Race start at 1 Crocker Blvd, Mt. Clemens, MI
Online registration ends Thursday 9/27 at noon.
Late registration is availabe at the event on Saturday beginning at 9 am.

FREE Family Health Fair
Friday, September 28, 2012 4-7 PM
Participants of the walk/run and the public are encouraged to attend.
The event will offer Entertainment, Food, Silent Auction,
Yoga& Dance Demonstrations,
and a variety of merchants to support the
Tara Grant Walk & Run.
These events kick off National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and a series of domestic violence awareness activities sponsored by Turning Point.
Turning Point’s mission is to provide programs and resources to enable victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to regain control of their lives.
